Description
This Weekly Torah Portion Wall Cabinet or Parashat HaShavuah Board is created from wood and metal. It has plaques, in Hebrew, for each of the 54 Torah Portions, 12 Seasonal Prayers , 6 Special Shabbats, and 4 blanks.
The outside of the cabinet is the display. The door itself is decorated with Etz-Ron’s unique mosaics, this time in a single color, with an additional inner frame of a darker wood. There are 7 display areas. The plaques are held in place with rare earth magnets and are easily removable. The Hebrew lettering is written in a modern font on thin aluminum sheets and these is turn are glued to plywood for strength. The plaques are color keyed, light, medium and dark, for the different categories. In addition you will get 4 blank plaques to fill in the unused spaces on the board when required. Opening the cabinet you will find orderly and accessible storage for all the plaques. The outside of the cabinet door also has ample room on the top area for a memorial, or donor recognition plaque.
The Parashat HaShavuah Wall Cabinet itself is made from Baltic birch plywood, chosen for durability, which has been stained. The frame of the door is from maple wood and inlaid with paduak wood which is naturally orange in color. It is further accented with a thin inner frame of dark sapelli wood, also in it’s true color. It hangs on the wall with the help of 4 screws.

This cabinet measures approximately 110 x 45 x 13cm ( 43 x 18 x 5″).
This is a custom order. The plaques can be lazer etched, instead of metal, at an additional charge. The size and shape of the cabinet can be changed. Changes can also be made to the colors of the inlays and woods used. You can add plaques, if desired for an additional charge ( upon request. I can share the wording of each plaque in this project ). Approximately four to eight weeks lead time- orders at Etz-Ron are fulfilled in the order they are received. This cabinet ships express with export invoice and insurance, not included in the price.
